		Certified Instructor Since 1995 I was certified by the Certified Horsemanship Association. CHA has a thorough certification process for instructors. The process requires over 40 hours evaluation and testing in teaching, training, safety, horsemanship, knowledge of theory, and professionalism. Certification Provides Benefits This rigorous program is a validation of the instructor's knowledge and ability. The instructor has met or exceeded a respected standard. In order to maintain my certification, I am required to undergo continuing education on a yearly basis. I attend clinics and work with industry professionals to meet this requirement. My certification is re-evaluated annually.
